The Id Planning team worked with Transport for NSW between 2014 and 2019 leading the stakeholder and communication management for the preservation of five Western Sydney transport corridors.

Key elements included development of media plans, communication plans, digital tools, team management, management of diverse industry stakeholders including freight, industry, developers, NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, Office of Environment and Heritage and Office of Strategic Lands, responding to ministerial requests, overseeing the project inbox, highlighting emerging issues and providing strategic advice.

The team managed risks, opportunities and liaison for the project across numerous ministerial portfolios including Transport, Roads and Ports, Planning and Environment as well as the office for the Minister for Western Sydney and Department of Premier and Cabinet.

With over 1200 properties directly impacted, Id Planning led a highly personal approach managing 13 community information sessions, managing the 1800 number and email and organising over 200 one on one meetings with property owners and the project team.
