The M12 Motorway would provide connections between Western Sydney International Airport and the surrounding Aerotropolis to other employment areas and population centres via the Sydney motorway network. It would provide high-speed motorway-standard access from the M7 Motorway and the Northern Road and reduce traffic on Elizabeth Drive and at key intersections.

Transport for NSW is seeking approval to construct and operate the M12 Motorway which would run between the M7 Motorway at Cecil Hills and the Northern Road at Luddenham and would be opened to traffic prior to opening of the Western Sydney International Airport.
